We are so excited to share our big day with those that are the nearest and dearest to our hearts--you all. We are going to be tying the knot at The Hard Rock Los Cabos on June 5th, 2025. About Us
Jamie & Gary met in Middle School Spanish class in 2006 when a certain curly haired boy shamelessly stole the Jamba Juice of an innocent brace-faced little girl. (He still swears he didn't do this, but she has a great memory.) Although she wasn't fond of him then or in high school when he was the popular football quarterback, when he slid into her DM's years later in 2017, she was intrigued. After months of hangouts, texting, and dates she went back to Chico State to finish her Teaching Credential where they were forced into a long distance relationship. Through the weekend visits & nightly Facetime dates, he fell for her charming charisma, big brain, and beauty and decided he couldn't live without her. While she fell for his ABBA Dancing Queen moves, passion for sports, and amazing foot rubs. One night, after a fireworks Oakland A's game (high off of the sparkle bombs and annoyed from her persistent questioning) they became official. Jamie & Gary continued dating through the years, and (FINALLY) in 2024, surrounded by friends and family....6 1/2 years later... he got down onto one knee and asked her to marry him, to which she replied "YES!"

Jamie met Katie in 2020 when she started dating Jamie's older brother. Through their mutual love of dogs, traveling, and making fun of Tyler they forged a friendship. In July of 2023, that friendship turned into a sisterhood when she married Tyler and officially became a part of the Elliott clan. Since the beginning they have made so many memories and shared many laughs (often at Tyler's expense). And soon Katie & Tyler will be giving Jamie & Gary the best gift of all-- a niece! Jamie wouldn't be able to tie the knot without her sister from another mister!

Jamie and Steph met in middle school, but their friendship really blossomed in high school & beyond. From sleepovers, Chico weekends, Mexico trips, plant shopping excursions, and craft nights their friendship has flourished over the past 15+ years. Watching Steph become a wife, a mom, a fashionista, and DIY badass has been so encouraging and inspiring, and it's been so fun to be involved in each chapter of each other's lives. Now having Steph be a special part of this wedding will add even more love, laughter, and memories to the already lengthy list of moments shared!

Jamie & Alexandra met in high school, and Jamie immediately wanted to be her friend. Alexandra always had a fun and bubbly personality and was always down for an adventure. Throughout college, Alexandra would visit Jamie in Chico. Through these visits they created so many incredibly fond memories dancing, partying, and staying up late joking and laughing. Since then, Jamie has stood by her side through all of the highs and lows of life--shared birthday's, Alexandra's wedding festivities, the birth of Alex's first baby, camping trips, girls nights, and so much more.

Jamie & Kaitie met freshman year of college at Chico State, on the waterpolo team. Through their daily practices with the polo team they quickly became best friends. They even ended up being roommates for junior and senior year of college. Kaitie was the yin to Jamie's yang. They even both decided to study abroad the same semester of college. Even after graduating, they made sure to maintain a close friendship, visiting each other, sharing their love of animals, travel, booty shaking, and being goofy. Jamie couldn't imagine getting married without Kaitie by her side!

Jamie & Sam became friends in high school, but their friendship really took off in their college years. From group trips, girls nights, Chico weekends, working together at a brewery, being workout buddies, and even neighbors--they've lived a lot of life by one another's sides. Jamie & Sam have seemed to experience a lot of the same situations in life, which has brought them even closer. Even though Sam might be small, she is mighty! She is a strong friend, sister, cat mom, and woman and without her, the bridesmaids just wouldn't be complete!

Juliette (aka Juju) & Jamie met freshman year of college at Chico State in the dorms. Even though they lived on the same floor, they didn't become friends until the waterpolo season started. Once they did become friends though, they stuck close to one anothers sides. They even lived together with Kaitie for 2 years during their junior and senior years of college. Between polo tournaments, Butt Barn parties, their mutual love of plant & book shopping, coffee dates, and stealing each other's clothes, their forever friendship was cemented. Jamie couldn't imagine getting married without her French partner in crime by her side!
Josh Fowler
Best Man
Gary and Josh met in elementary school during Boy Scouts. They later bonded over their love of football and sports. Now, you might catch them on any given weekend sports gambling, watching football or NASCAR, or speaking in solely movie quotes. Their friendship is more like a brotherhood at this point, and Gary couldn't imagine getting married without the Harry to his Lloyd.
Scott Chapeta

Gary has known Scott since birth...since he's his younger brother. Scott and Gary shared a bedroom for 16 years, which came with many late night convos, jokes, and inside secrets. Scott was always one of Gary's biggest fans, sitting in the stands during football, basketball, and lacrosse games. Scott is a necessary component to be on Gary's side as his "big" little brother.
Ryan Chapeta

Ryan is Gary's smaller but older brother who is always willing to share an embarrassing story or two. Growing up, Ryan and Gary loved being outside at their ranch, chasing cows, throwing the football, and mooning commuter cars. Ryan was always there for Gary, protecting him when needed, cheering him on, and giving him brotherly advice.
Mac Hunter

Gary and Mac met freshman year of high school on the football field where Mac was making fun of Gary's fro. Mac and Gary were inseparable through high school, always celebrating their wins and losses, side by side. Even when Gary was offered a LHS Football Coaching position, he didn't accept until he had Mac on the roster as his assistant coach. Mac has always been someone Gary has looked up to in life, and has been like a brother since the day they met. Gary couldn't imagine getting hitched without Mac by his side.
Cameron Sawyer

Gary & Cameron have known each other since they were 5 years old watching their older brothers at LYF Football practice. They grew up playing football side by side from 8years old (where Cameron was known as "skelator" and Gary was "chunk-a-lunk") and through high school. Even when Cameron was deployed overseas after high school in the Army, they maintained contact as often as possible. Cameron and Gary still love tossing the football around, kicking back an occasional beer, and reminiscing on the memories from years and years of friendship.
Brian Jones

Gary and Brian met freshman year of high school through mutual friends. Brian has always been a blast to be around--the life of the party. In high school, Gary and Brian could be found throwing back Bacardi, at sports games screaming from the stands, or singing on a party bus heading towards the school dances. Brian is always Gary's first round draft pick when it's time for a game of golf or just grabbing a beer and chillin.
